The Gaming Floor
Grosvenor Casino St Giles sits at 262 Tottenham Court Road, London W1T 7RG, right in the heart of the West End. For most guests it is one of the easier venues to reach in central London. Entry is free, but only for those 18 or over, and we are strict on the ID rule. You will need a valid photo ID at the door, no workarounds. The casino operates as part of Grosvenor Casinos (GC) Limited, owned by The Rank Group, under a premises licence from the UK Gambling Commission, with the London Borough of Camden as the local licensing authority.
On the tables, we focus on the classic formats you would normally expect at a venue of this size. Roulette and blackjack are the main games on the floor. Reported minimums start from 50p on roulette and from £3 on blackjack at certain times, but actual limits can change, so it is always better to check the current minimum directly with the team on the table. Poker is also dealt on site. Slot machines are positioned alongside the tables rather than hidden away, so you can move between electronic games and live play without changing floors.
| Game Type | Format | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Roulette | Table game | Stakes from 50p in certain periods |
| Blackjack | Table game | Stakes from £3 in certain periods |
| Poker | Table game | Available on site |
| Slot Machines | Electronic | Alongside table games |
We trade seven days a week. Gaming usually runs through until around 6am, which is later than the bar service. Last orders at the bar do not mean the end of play, so if you are planning a longer session, the gaming floor stays active after drinks service has stopped.
Getting There and Registering
Tottenham Court Road Underground station is the nearest stop, and it is genuinely around a two-minute walk to the casino. Both the Central and Northern lines serve the station, which makes access from most parts of London fairly straightforward. Once you reach 262 Tottenham Court Road, head to the entrance, have your ID ready, and our front-of-house team will take it from there.
For a first visit, the process at the door is simple, but it still takes a moment:
- Travel to Tottenham Court Road Underground station.
- Walk to 262 Tottenham Court Road and head to the main entrance.
- Present valid photo ID - a passport or UK driving licence is fine.
- Age is verified; if you are under 18 or cannot prove age, we must refuse entry.
- Go through the free entry point to reception and the main floor.
- Register for the loyalty or guest entry programme with the front desk team.
- Collect your membership or guest card before you start playing.
All registration takes place in person at the venue. Current public information does not mention any online pre-registration options, and we do not charge an entry fee. The loyalty scheme is part of the standard Grosvenor Casinos membership, the same structure that runs across our UK properties.
One practical remark from our experience: if you are new to casino visits, plan to arrive slightly earlier than your planned gaming time. ID checks, completing registration and finding your way around the floor take a few minutes. It is usually more comfortable to do that without watching the clock.
